ACT Information

The ACT is another test that can be used as part of the college admission process.  While most popular in the Midwest and Western part of the United States, many students have taken the ACT in addition to the SAT over the past several years.  The ACT states on its website that the main difference between it and the SAT is, "The ACT is an achievement test, measuring what a student has learned in school. The SAT is more of an aptitude test, testing reasoning and verbal abilities."

**** 2020-2021 Update - Due to the COVID-19 crisis, most colleges and universities are going test optional for the Class of 2021 applicants
