Voter Information

To vote, you must satisfy the following requirements as a qualified voter.

  • Must be a citizen of the United States
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be a resident of the school district at least 30 days prior to the meeting which he/she offers to vote.
  • Must not be prohibited from voting under the provisions of Section 5-106 of the Election Law (having been convicted of a felony or adjudged mentally incompetent)
  • Must present proof of residence with a picture, such as a driver’s license or non-driver identification. (upon request)

Absentee Balloting
Qualified voters who wish to vote using an absentee ballot can request an application from the District Clerk at Madison Central School.
Please follow the instructions as written on your absentee ballot carefully.

On Your Ballot

1. Shall the Board of Education of the Madison Central School District be authorized to expend a sum not to exceed $13,552,942 as set forth in this proposed budget for the fiscal year 2025-26, and to levy the necessary taxes therefore?

2. Vote for any three candidates for the Board of Education. The following three individuals have completed the requirements to appear on the ballot and will be listed in the following order. Fields for write-in votes will also be provided for voters that wish to use them. 

  • Stephen Gorman
  • Jessica Clark
  • Jennah Turner

Of the three available seats:

  • Two seats are for four-year terms, commencing July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2029.
  • One seat is to complete an unexpired term, commencing July 1, 2025 and ending June 30, 2026.

The two candidates who receive the highest number of votes will be elected to the four-year terms.
