Congratulations to the Morrisville Eaton Mavericks Section 3 State Champions
Congratulations to the Morrisville Eaton Mavericks Section 3 State Champions! The 8-man team is made up from players from Morrisville-Eaton, Stockbridge Valley and Madison. They secured their 2nd Section championship in 4 years.
We are proud of our four Madison students who have made meaningful contributions to the team this season:
· Senior Gabe Geiger – A two-way lineman, Geiger has recorded 25 tackles, 2 sacks, and 1 fumble recovery on defense.
·Junior Lewis Joslyn – Playing on both sides of the ball, Joslyn has earned 3 sacks on the season.
· Sophomore Wesley D’Imperio – Serving as both running back and linebacker, D’Imperio is the team’s second leading rusher with 928 yards and 16 total touchdowns, along with nine two-point conversions.
· Sophomore Noah Mudge – The backup quarterback and starting wide receiver, Mudge has eight touchdowns and three two-point conversions on offense, while also ranking among the team’s defensive leaders with 36 tackles.
