This school year, Madison Central School physical education teachers Seth Howard and Amber Meigs have instituted a new “Student of the Month” initiative for elementary students.
The “Student of the Month” award is intended to reward students who show a strong commitment during physical education class time. It is given to students who display good sportsmanship, kindness, inclusion of others, respectful attitudes, responsibility, trustworthiness, and consistency in doing the right thing.
February 2024 honorees were as follows:
Gavin Coonrod and Bianca Bombard - Kindergarten
Holden Matteson and Addison Ford - 1st grade
Kaison Ford and Lilly Mikula - 2nd grade
Evian Davis and Bentley Ponton - 3rd grade
Jordan Mudge and Hayden Powers - 4th grade
Griffin Virgil and Aria Buchanan - 5th grade
Nataleigh Godfrey and Ben Roberts - 6th grade
