Adrianna's Design for the contest

One tenth grade student at Madison Central School could see her artwork displayed across Madison County this fall. Adrianna Faber has had her entry selected as a finalist for the Madison County Board of Elections “I Voted” sticker design contest.

Adrianna was one of seven finalists selected for the county-wide contest by the Madison County Board of Elections, and the Madison-Oneida BOCES New Visions Government, Law and Public Administration class.

Members of the general public were able to cast votes on the winning design during the June 17th primary elections held in the County, and the opportunity to vote online will run from now until July 21st, 2023.

To vote, visit https://www.madisoncounty.ny.gov/2968/I-Voted-Sticker-Art-Contest. Adrianna’s design is option 7.

The winner will have their design printed on the “I Voted” stickers distributed during the 2023 general elections in November.

Adrianna’s design, which features a patriotic theme and an ear of corn, was part of a larger class project. Students in Adam Jennett’s Studio Art and Advanced Studio Art classes each submitted a design for the contest. Jennett says that this honor is well-deserved.

“Adrianna worked very hard on her design and took the assignment seriously, which in the end paid off,” Jennett said. “It's a very exciting prospect to potentially have the design chosen and then given to all voters at the Madison County elections.”
