Nineteen student-athletes from Madison Central School have been selected as NYSPHSAA Scholar Athlete award winners for the Spring 2023 sports season. To be eligible, a student athlete must maintain an overall average of 90 or higher. Leading the way among Madison teams was a department-high seven selections from the varsity softball program.
The Madison baseball program included five honorees, and the varsity golf squad received four selections. Our track and field athletes, participating in conjunction with the team at Morrisville-Eaton, received three total honors.
Five seniors from the Class of 2023 Top 10 have also earned this honor, including valedictorian Abigail Cook, and salutatorian Anthony Dodge.
