MADISON, NY - Ten students at Madison Central School recently participated in the 2023 Madison County Music Educators’ Association Winter All-County Festival. The festival was held from Friday, January 20th to Saturday, January 21st at Chittenango High School.

The All-County festival is an honor reserved for the top performing student musicians at MCMEA member schools. Students complete a rigorous audition process, and if selected, are entrusted to put forth the necessary time and effort in order to be prepared for festival weekend.

Over the course of the weekend, students made the final preparations on a four-piece concert program with their respective ensemble, and performed a concert in front of an audience from across Madison County, and portions of Oneida County.

Three Madison students participated in the Winter All-County Choirs: Zoey Billings, Destiny Soule, and Jenna Burns.

An additional seven students participated in the Winter All-County Bands: Mackenzie Cotter, Lewis Joslyn, Jeremiah Rutkowski, Tyler Cotter, Derek Hunter, Wesley D'Imperio, and Lillian Reichert.

Congratulations to all of our participants!
