The results of voting on the Madison Central School District's 2023-24 proposed budget, and Board of Education election have been tabulated and are as follows:

Budget Vote: Shall the Board of Education of the Madison Central School District be authorized to expend a sum not to exceed $12,410,918 as set forth in this proposed budget for the fiscal year 2023-2024 and to levy the necessary taxes therefore?

Votes cast in favor of the proposition: 86

Votes cast against the proposition: 25

RESULT: The resolution passes.

Proposition 1: Shall the Board of Education of the Madison Central School District be authorized to establish a Building Capital Reserve Fund and the Ultimate amount of such fund is to be $1,000,000, plus interest earnings?

Votes cast in favor of the proposition: 87

Votes cast against the proposition: 24

RESULT: The resolution passes.
