The 5th graders presented a program for a Windmill Project Teleconference with 4th graders in New York City. They explained the itinerary and introductions.

Mr. Saulsgiver talked about the environmental pro's and con's of having windmills. He also answered questions from Madison students and 4th graders from NYC. In true fashion, ended with an inspiring story.

Kyle and Jacob from Vestas talked about the important jobs they have while dealing with the windmills and their maintenance.

Jacob, also a graduate of Madison, explains the importance of being in a safety harness while working on windmills. He said that they have to wear them when they are off the ground, sometimes as high as 250 feet up.
